Original UK RHD green car for full restoration (105. 31). Comes with many spare parts including an additional 1750 mk1 engine and Weber 38 DCOE carbs.
A rare opportunity to restore a truly original UK car. This is recently discovered off the road since 1997 but confirmed as a June 1972 registration in the UK. A rare find these days as a lot of projects
for sale originate from South Africa.
Believed to be complete, it has been stripped and engine removed. All parts have been stored in a barn while the rolling shell remains with all glass, wheels and gearbox.
The shell will need a full restoration but has been deemed good in some key areas – notably the firewall, bottom of the windscreen and key chassis elements. Worst rust in the sills, door bottoms and drivers side floorpan. The presence of the glass has helped to preserve a lot of the trim that remains on the interior.
