1948 Velocette MSS 500 cc Single With original "Dowty" Front Forks , Frame number KDD 10446 , Engine number MSS 8170 as confirmed by the VMCC dating certificate supplied , Registered new in the IOM as JMN599 , Sadly lost , Now age related registration being PXS762 Presented in excellent condition with its original patina , Nice to see one untouched but mechanically in great condition , Excellent tires , Reconditioned dynamo and regulator etc . The post war MSS was basically the Pre War MSS but fitted with "Dowty" forks , This one has the rare fuel tank shape adapted to take the "Dowty" forks , .
