In this configuration with a 5-speed gearbox the majority of these
were exported throughout in Europe 1980.
Features for this last production year of the 99turbo model was:
* First year for the Saab´s 5-speed gearbox (G45701)
* Front/ corner reverse-lights (only on the 5-speed versions)
* Speedometer range to 240km/ hour - this is the only year
saab 99 had this feature, and only in the turbo versions.
* The new seats with adjustable headrests wich followed
on the 900 up to the last year 1994.
* Green-tinted windows all around
The car has been off the roads since 1997
