You might have seen this particular car feature on Brassic about two series ago. A paparazzi shot with Michelle Keegan sat in the car found on Google is included in the photos.
This is a fairly rare mk5/ B escort 1. 8 16v SI Cabriolet in Coral Red. It's a 94/ L reg and has covered 69000 miles, is HPI clear and comes with 2 keys and a current MOT to April 2024. It's had a few owners as so many of these cars often do but they all seem to have taken care of it and avoided the Max Power modifying era; thankfully!
It has covered very few miles since 2013 as it was only driven when taken out on TV jobs. Since then much of its time has been spent under cover in the companies storage facility.
Our preparation has included replacing the cambelt kit, two wheel bearings and a gearbox/ engine mount and an oil change.
Specification includes: power steering, electric windows front & rear, heated front screen, RS boot spoiler, 3 spoke leather steering wheel, sports seats and it has the optional tonneau cover. The hood is the standard non electric (electric was optional) mohair version so is more reliable and durable as well as being in very good condition. Don't be fooled by the 'big bore' exhaust, it's purely a cosmetic item and the exhaust note/ noise is totally standard.
Being the SI it has the most powerful engine offered in these Escorts, the 130 bhp 1. 8 Zetec, making the car much more useable for touring as well as being a far more pleasant unit to drive than the earlier CVH engines.
Overall condition is very good and it still retains what I believe to be its original supplying main dealer number plates.
