Hello and welcome to the sale of this stunning Audi A4. This is a very rare S-Line 'Special edition' model. This limited run of vehicles came with many extras, and this particular car was specified with extra options on top, leading to a very high specification including the 18" twin spoke alloy wheels, black optics pack (gloss black exterior trims), two tone leather / alcantara interior, black headlining, sat nav, BOSE sound system, parking sensors, headlight washers, heated front seats, cruise control, ipod connection, interior light pack, electric heated folding door mirrors, colour drivers info system, and much more! Unsurprisingly, this car was originally an Audi demonstrator, with just one subsequent lady owner since it was just a few months old, making just two owners in total on the logbook. It has covered just 101k miles, and has a comprehensive service history file. The beautiful metallic black exterior is in fabulous condition for the age, with nothing more than a few very light marks as you would expect. I have just had the car professionally machine polished and it retains a deep shine. I have also had all five original 18" alloy wheels professionally refurbished. They were originally silver and showing their age, so they have been dipped, stripped and powder coated and I chose the genuine Audi satin grey finish as found on the later 'black editions' to give it a fresh and slightly meaner look, and I am very happy with the results! The interior is also well preserved, with minimal wear and has just been treated to a deep valet ensuring it smells fresh. The two tone grey / black leather compliments the exterior beautifully, and the alcantara steering wheel, gearknob, hand brake and door trims unique to this edition set it apart from the rest. The 2. 0 petrol turbo TFSI engine starts well and idles quietly. Part of the special edition was also an increase in horsepower from factory to 220bhp. It puts this down well through the 6 speed manual gearbox. The Quattro all wheel drive system provides reassuring handling in all weathers. On the road it feels tight and responsive with no knocks or bangs and pulls up square under braking. To sum up, this is an extremely attractive, low owner, extremely well cared for, top of the range example of a very collectible and practical sports saloon, and I am sure the new owner will be very pleased.
