Bmw 518 (m50 2. 5 conversion) – light restoration project
welcome to the sale of this 1986 modified e28 518. finished in zinnobar red with black leather interior it is fitted with a 2. 5 m50 straight 6 bmw engine. The works carried out were completed some time ago and we have no documentation to the full extent of the conversion. Whilst the mechanicals are in good condition, the underside requires some repair work which is documented in the underside photo section on our website!
the paintwork is good general condition, as are the replica bbs rs wheels. The black leather seats are from a later model bmw but sit very nicely in the e28.
it comes with a v5, 1 key, some old mot’s and original owners manual
it would make very good base for a retromod with all the hard work completed and money spent! Some bodywork and very minor mechanicals to get back in safe road condition and what a thing to enjoy!
