Here for sale due to thinning out of our collection, is our completely standard and unmolested, 1997 Ford Escort GTI 1. 8 Zetec 16v.
The trim being a GTI variant came with half leather sports seats, 15’’ 5 spoke alloy wheels, sunroof, white instrument cluster, a factory optional hands free kit, front fog lights and factory mud flaps.
We have owned this Escort for 13yrs (since early 2010), and have used it very sparingly to attend Ford Classic car shows, to which it was certainly the finest, original example on display. This Escort is completely original and rust free, the pictures do not do the car justice for just how good it is.
It has very low, genuine miles of only 46, 688 with a very good history, with old tax discs, mot and service records, the two original keys with the ‘Red’ blank and factory immobiliser dongle.
We understand that the Escort is a local North Yorkshire car, also being family owned previously.
