Description
1987 2cv6 Special - spares or a relatively straightforward project.
It needs the 2cv 'usual' - a chassis, floors, front toeboard and a bonnet hinge, but otherwise the bodyshell isn't actually too bad. It is good in the bootwell, rear sweeps, seat box etc, and also under the windscreen is solid, curiously only needing literally the bonnet hinge itself replacing.
The car hasn't been on the road for many years (probably 2006 judging by the tax disc), and has been largely dry stored in that time. The engine has had a few parts removed (prior to me acquiring it), but these parts are present and in the boot. Therefore I haven't tried starting it, but the engine turns over freely by hand.
It's largely all there, with 72k miles showing, I have no particular reason to think that this isn't genuine. V5 present.
All in all, it would make great and very rewarding spring project.
Please note that a trailer required for transporting, the car does not drive but does roll freely for loading.
