An excellent and original example of this highly regarded model that has covered only 52, 000 miles in the hands of three owners, the first owning it until 1998 at which point it had covered 49, 000 miles. It comes with a full service history, mainly with the original supplying BMW dealer. All invoices, books, tools and keys remain with it.
The car was supplied new by BMW main dealer Fairfield Performance Cars on the 5th of August 1981 as noted on the original purchase invoice. This confirms the specification with paintwork in Sapphire Blue and matching velour interior in lighter Pacific Blue. Options include fog lights, manual sunroof, power steering, metallic paint and Mahle wheels which matched those on the owners previous BMW 6 series coupe.
This first owner, a Mrs Rogers looked after the car very diligently for the next seventeen years, servicing the car regularly at the supplying dealer as detailed in all invoicing on file, in fact she kept every bit of correspondence relating to the BMW from original sales brochure onwards.
Two marque enthusiasts have subsequently owned the 323i and they have continued to look after it perfectly as detailed in further invoicing, correspondence and as shown by the fantastic condition of the car today in all respects.
A truly lovely car that drives in a very taut precise way as only well looked after original examples do.
