An immaculate matching numbers 1957 Austin Healey 100/ 6. Has had a body off nut and bolt restoration done to concours standard.
Done approximately 600 miles since restoration.
Engine completely rebuilt including high capacity oil pump. It also has a spin off oil filter fitted, however the original comes with the car.
Gearbox and diff completely checked over.
Suspension all new including re-bushed.
New wiring loom
New full carpet set
Since restoration after a bedding in period over 20 hours have been spent checking everything over. Oil has been changed.
Twin carbs have been tuned and set up with the proper needles by an expert. Timing and steering etc have all set up properly.
This is a standard car with the following period extras:
Hard top with roof lining and air vent
Brand new soft top comes with car (never been on car)
Brand new Tonneau cover comes with car (never been on car)
100/ S Sports Seats (a lot more comfortable)
Front Disc Brakes conversion (normally not on this model)
Brand new overdrive (nor normally on this model) Works type grill (looks better and allows more air in)
Extra Kenlowe fan (absolutely no overheating problems even in our recent heat wave)
Works type Lamp Bracket
2 x Lucas Spot lamps (both wired up with switch in dash)
Reversing lamp (with warning light in switch)
Alternator conversion
Spare coil fitted under bonnet
Stainless Steel side exhaust system fitted
New Smiths oil pressure gauge fitted.(more accurate reading)
Small trip meter fitted
Map reading light fitted
Works type petrol filler cap
Being 1957 this car is Mille Miglia eligible which makes it very desirable
This car is as perfect as it gets and is in stunning condition. It has had a meticulous check over to sort all the little issues after a complete restoration and is simply ready to drive and enjoy.
The car is both UK & Austrian registered meaning no European taxes to pay if staying within Europe. The car is currently in an Austrian collection where viewings may be made by appointment.
