This is exactly how Jaguar would have made their E Type V12 model if they had been able to ignore cost constraints. Perhaps one could call it a Jaguar built with the benefit of hindsight.
Every component of the car has been subtly upgraded by E Type specialists with the best available parts and of course the quality of the bodywork and interior trim are beyond reproach. The original V12 engine has been fully rebuilt and fitted with a modern fuel injection system giving in excess of 272bhp. The gearbox is a close ratio five-speed unit and the upgraded AP braking system provides massive stopping power. The steering and suspension have received equal attention.
On the road it quickly becomes clear that this is no ordinary E Type, it drives beautifully with a tautness and turn of speed that will astonish. The hand-built stainless exhaust system provides a sonorous V12 soundtrack to proceedings and the wonderfully precise action of the gearbox will delight whilst providing easy 5th gear high speed cruising with minimum revs.
