Original red gold brocade interior, restored to concours standard, engine is OAP built correct FJ flat front 151 block, 185 head, 190 gear box, early welded lug 3. 5 S rims. Car won best Cooper & S class at Stanford Hall 2021. Very early special car with heritage certification. From the research carried out, the first owner of YVH 850 was a Mr John Morris who was a salesman at Charles Clark in Wolverhampton, a BMC Dealership with an interest in competition. The car was apparently used for light competition- rallying and sprinting until it passed to its second owner in 1971. The new owner intended to continue competing in the car but life and family intervened and YVH was dry stored in a dismantled state passing through a couple of custodians who did nothing with the car until it came to me and was restored to the condition it is today.
