It’s a genuine 1275GT in Bracken Yellow
This is an original UK example that underwent a complete nut and bolt restoration in 2021.
The mechanical spec includes:
• 1275 A series engine taken to 1330.
• MiniSport rally 37/ 29 cylinder head with unleaded capability
• Split Weber 45 DCOE carburettors 104 BHP
• Maniflo manifold
• Maniflo 2 ¾ exhaust system
• Straight cut gear box.
• Filter king fuel pressure regulator and Facet fuel pump
• HiLo adjustable suspension and polybushed
• MiniSport negative camber and tracking kit plus much more. The GT has been built for fast road use.
Internally, it has
• Cobra classic bucket seats and a brand new Newton Commercial
rear seat
• Newton commercial door cards, rally spec dash, and alloy door
furniture
• Turn one rally steering wheel.
• Recent new carpets
Externally, largely standard save original Minilite 10in alloys (shod with a matching set of Yokohama A032 tyres, slightly flared arches, and Mark Il rear lights.
The GT has done around 2000 miles since it was restored.
It’s just come out of the workshop having had over £1100. 00 of fettling including a full service, ignition service, and a new battery – higher capacity than standard as it needs extra cranking power to turn when cold, and is now ready to enjoy.
I have a pretty much every receipt from the restoration and many photos.
A great classic Mini that drives just as well as it looks – Its fun, fast and gets masses of attention wherever it goes.
