Description
This lot will be auctioned via Classic Car Auctions, The Summer Sale 2023 on Saturday the 17th of June, Warwickshire Event Centre, CV31 1XN.
In recent years, this car has formed part of a large collection and has received little or no use, so an element of recommissioning is to be expected. Some of these cars do start, run and drive. Each car has a condition report, however they are all sold as seen
In 1951, the Belgian Army was searching for a new lightweight 4 x 4, so Minerva approached Rover to produce their Series I under license
Under the arrangement, Rover provided full technical assistance and Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits consisting of a chassis, engine, and transmission. Minerva would then build a steel body that met the requirements of the Belgian Army. Minerva lacked the ability to produce the curved wings, so Minerva vehicles have a distinctive sloping wing shape.
Nice early car finished in Olive Drab/ Matte Green with a well-worn interior
Understood to have been imported around 1995/ 6. Currently showing 25, 037km on the clock
The vehicle appears generally sound. A rare car in the UK, could be a worthwhile project
