This 1954 MF TF was imported back from New Jersey in 2006, the MG was previously restored in the US and quite a common upgrade State Side was to fit the Volvo B1800 Engine with Twin Carbs and the Volvo Overdrive Gearbox, now I hear some MG Enthusiasts yelping, but we now have a an 1800cc bullet prof engine that makes Volvo Amazon Fly, with the higher geared Over Drive Gearbox that makes the MG TF have longer legs that MG could of only dreamed off and far more period correct than putting a Ford Sierra Gearbox in your MG that many TF owners have done! If I still have your interest this car was one of those nut and bolt detailed American Restorations that are quite remarkably when you look at the detail, More recently a new set of wire Wheels have been fitted and the MG has just received a Front Disc Brake Conversion to help pull in the extra power now on supply, a full stainless steel exhaust, the Power Unit even looks a beautiful installation and you have to look twice to think its not an MG engine. Quite an individual car that from every angle looks as it should, Rear luggage Rack, Side Screens stored under the rear deck, you could not restore an MG TF to this condition for the asking price and this MG will see off most of its younger siblings with ease, Some US paperwork and lovely UK History folder , Spare Key, Work shop Manual. Mileage of 3, 151 miles is the mileage recorded since restoration and conversion.
