EXTERIOR
Finished in Giallo Oro combined with its sleek curves, elegantly sculpted lines and lowered stance, the car attracts attention where ever it is present. From a far or up close the wonderful retro race car aesthetics really do create a sense of theatre. Composite doors, bonnet and boot lid have been added to the car with purpose, keeping the car lighter and more agile on circuit with rolled arches to help house larger and wider tyres.

The bodywork is straight with only a few stone chips and spider cracking around the door handles which is to be expected from a composite door, bonnet and and boot lid. Overall this car has been extremely well looked after and with no expense spared in any area. The paint colour scheme and the wonderful Alfaholics GTA Veloce wheels go hand in hand to create a very aesthetically pleasing classic race car.

INTERIOR
The interior is very much prepped for racing, with no radio or even roll down windows this car was not designed or built with modern comforts in mind. Fitted with a quick release Momo steering wheel and beautifully designed ?aircraft style? switchgear contol unit for the ignition, fuel pump, lights, starter and a rain light. However with all of the latter in mind the previous keeper did make the interior a pleasant place to be with tasteful additions such as quilted headliners and door bar padding to increase the comfort slightly on the road.

A seam welded shell paired with the fully welded roll cage compliments the Recaro bucket seats and 6 point Schroth harnesses to keep you firmly in place on the track. A flocked dashboard with SPA designed gauges gives only the essential information you need for highspeed circuit driving, these include rev gauge, speedometer, oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature.

The interior really does reflect how well looked after this Alfa Romeo has been over the years and presents beautifully with no noticeable signs of wear or damage. A fully plumbed in fire extinguisher system is also present and fully operational in the vehicle along with a spare wheel and 55 litre foam filled aluminium tank.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Free revving and full of character, Alfa?s Twin Cam engine is synonymous with this era of motoring, storming to victory on the racetrack with the GTA and GTA Junior. This Alfa Giulia GT has been fitted with Alfaholics 2 litre big valve Monza Nord engine package producing around 200 BHP.

During the cars restoration the engine was stripped and reassembled, with refurbished Webber 45 carburettors and an overhauled gearbox to ensure the car performs as expected on the road. Additionally all ancillary components were restored to as close to period factory specification as possible, with new hoses and clips, engine mounts, radiator fan, ignition leads, fuel pump, fuel line and a new fuel tank + sender. A new three-piece clutch kit was also installed, along with new hydraulics, a new clutch master + slave cylinders and a new sports exhaust system to complement the engines resonant song.

To ensure you can get the most out of the performance upgrades on the engine the car has been tuned on the dyno to ensure perfect running throughout the rev range giving it a smooth delivery of power. As well as a dyno tune, the car benefits from a recent alignment with the paperwork included.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Accentuating the Alfa?s Race car looks a set of Alfaholics GTA Veloce 7×15 wheels, which have been designed to support modern high performance tyres. Matching Yokohama Advan Neova tyres all round showing in almost new condition, with plenty of tread remaining.

Fitted with larger front disc setup and Ferrodo brake shoes, provided for extra stopping power and shows plenty of life remaining.

HISTORY FILE
This Alfa was first delivered in Italy in March 1968 where it spent its time as a LHD Giulia GT 1300 Junior before being imported into the UK in 1991. The car was then converted to RHD when work began on the shell in 2015 to convert it into the race car we now see. This car has been built with no expense spared at the time with a total bill coming to £36, 000 in upgrades from Alfaholics and appropriate modifications to ensure a competitive car on circuit.

The car comes with a substantial history folder with a list of receipts for all of the work carried out on the vehicle, MOT certificates and the original Italian paperwork for the car. The work on the car qualified it for SMRC technical race certification with all the papers included allowing the next owner to compete alongside many other wonderful classic cars on some of the best circuits in Europe.
