Putting my golf up for sale I wanted a change up and now have a new daily.
it its MOT and service was in June, It?s a 1. 8 8v carburettor engine with 105k miles on the clock, it comes with the 2 original keys and a load of the original paperwork including the service book. Loads of work has been done to it in the last few years as I used it as a daily and took it on used long distance trips, it?s a pleasure to drive and very comfortable.
Here?s the work that?s been done:
4x tyres, Rear springs, Rear top mounts, new Thermostat, Webber 32/ 34 manual choke conversion, Plug leads, Dizzy cap, Dizzy arm, Radiator, Inlet manifold to carb rubber gasket, Throttle cable, Clutch cable, Ball joints, Front top mounts with the Clutch and cambelt done in May. Honestly there is nothing left to do with this car if you?re looking for a reliable classic daily driver!
Few photos of the bad bits like small bits of rust in little areas and damage to the paint but this is expected from being a 35 year old car, The headlining is starting to sag on the back which is common on these but isn?t really noticeable.
Apart from that it?s a really nice example of a Golf Mk2!
