For sale rare Mazda MX5 RS (Rally Sport) Limited Edition model. 1 of only 500 originally made in Japan, a very clean and original example including the Recaro Carbon Kevlar racing seats. Low 72k mileage (116km), complete with very good service history and long MOT until April 2024 (no advisories). Only 2 former owners before me, first imported by the UK car dealer and then kept by its last owner since 1998 with no expense spared. All original features, also have the original Nardi leather steering wheel and is a 100-point original car.
This model came with the highest specification features including a lightweight flywheel, yellow strut brace, Bilstein dampers with new coil springs, 15 BBS lightweight alloy wheels, plus all centre caps. New original replacement soft top roof is in mint condition, electric wing mirrors and new Panasonic gel battery. The car has had a full recent service (new fluids, spark plugs, filters etc.). The electric aerial has also been serviced and is work working perfectly.
The metallic paint and bodywork is in excellent condition for its age and present nicely as shown in the pictures. The interior of the car feels clean and fresh, with a high-end Kenwood stereo system fitted. The sills and arches are all in very good condition, with no rust or related issues.
An immobiliser comes fitted for security. In the boot, there is the original black leather tonneau cover, spare wheel, jack and locking nut tool present. The originality of this car has to be seen to be fully appreciated. This car would make a great addition to any collection for investment or can be enjoyed and taken to shows. The gearbox operates nice and smoothly through the gears and the engine feels strong. The exhaust has a great note and it feels special when driving, attracting lots of positive looks and attention.
