1977 BMW R60/ 7 Registration Number: TLM 511R Frame Number: 6001503 Introduced in the autumn of 1976, the '/ 7' models updated the '/ 6' series that had been in production for the preceding three years. The R90S-shape fuel tank (adopted across the range) and redesigned rocker covers were distinguishing features of a line-up that consisted of the R60/ 7, R75/ 7 and a trio of new R100 models: the R100/ 7, R100S and R100RS. First registered in May 1977, in 2021 this R60/ 7 benefited from comprehensive servicing at a cost of £1787. 74 by specialist Colin Flashman of Cornwall. The BMW gained two new tyres, a battery, service including oil/ air filters, spark plugs/ points, new cables, front fork oil and seals, and new wheel bearings. The BMW is offered with a bill for the above works, plus V5 registration document.
