1988 Aston Martin V8 Efi

Finished in Chichester Blue with Parchment hide piped Dark Blue and Blue carpets. Fitted with Vantage specification 16’’ wheels and Michelin Pilot sport tyres, Harvey Bailey front anti roll bar and complete with a Nardi wood rim steering wheel.

In single family ownership for the last 34 years, this late model AM V8 Efi, originally equipped with electronic fuel injection and automatic transmission, benefits from all late production model refinements including standard refrigerated air conditioning.

Completed and delivered in August 1988, this AM V8 EFi is 1 of only 59 examples built in total of which, 42 were produced in RHD. Of the 42 RHD cars built, just 13 were finished in the highly attractive colour of Chichester Blue.

Changing hands when two years old in 1990, to its 3rd and last family ownership, a family of Aston Martin owners and enthusiasts since the early 1970’s, this exceptional AM V8 has been maintained continuously by Aston Martin agents and specialists prior to and during, the whole of the last family’s ownership.

Passing from father to son in the early 2010’s, Nicholas Mee & Co were commissioned by the last owner to carry an extensive programme of chassis, body and paint restorative works and a complete check of the cars mechanical condition. These extensive works included attention to the suspension, brakes and steering and were completed by the end of 2017, at a total cost in excess of £70, 000, before the car was delivered to its North of England based owner. Since the restorative works completed, the car has been run regularly although has covered less than a thousand dry weather miles. When not in use, the car has been kept in the owner’s ideal standard garaging.

Complete with its originally supplied owner’s handbook, fully completed and stamped original service voucher book and all originally supplied equipment, including the vehicle tool roll, jack and warning triangle. This high-quality example of the last incarnation of the AM V8 line, from long term ownership, is supplied inclusive of a fresh service to the manufacturers service schedule, a multi-point health check sheet, 12 months warranty and MoT certificate.
