Description
This Riley Elf mk2 998cc was first registered on 23rd July 1965 and the v5 records just 2 former keepers. The gentleman we purchased the car from had owned and cared for it for nearly 40 years.
It is structurally in excellent order with good original sound floors. In the early 90s it had new inner and outer sills, wings, door skins and A panels. The rear subframe was also replaced.
Mechanically it drives very well. The engine starts willingly every time and holds excellent oil pressure. There are no transmission whines as are quite common with these.
We have just submitted it for an mot test, which it has passed with no advisories, so it’s tested until April 2025
The history file contains the original handbook, many old mots and invoices for previous repairs. This Riley would be a great entry to classic motoring
