Description
This time warp Sierra Sapphire has been clearly cherished from new, in the hands of just two owners, the last since 1994. It was garaged throughout his ownership and its condition is a testament to his care. The doors and arches are free from the usual corrosion and the underside is really exceptional (see photos). The interior is in equally excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. The low mileage is backed up by every MOT certificate from its first in 1990. The 1. 6 Pinto engine, whilst in no danger of setting any speed records, fires into life quickly and runs well. The 5 speed gearbox is slick and tight to operate.
There are some minor areas of damage to the back bumper and the hubcaps are clearly brittle with age and have some cracks. This car is a real head turner and attracts admiring glances and plenty of comments in car parks and petrol stations.
