1995 MG RV8. Woodcote Green with Stone Beige leather upholstery and black mohair hood. This stunning MG has been with its last owner for 9 years and has covered just 39, 000 miles from new. Originally supplied new to Japan in 1995 it was repatriated to the U. K in 2005. At its time of return the MG had covered just 49, 000 Km (30, 000 miles) from new. A new MPH clock was fitted and correctly calibrated. The car is in beautiful condition throughout and has been lovingly cherished, no expense has been spared on the upkeep. The paintwork with a great lustre, the leather showing minimal wear and the hood tight and watertight with a clear rear screen. Lots of work has been carried out over the years maintaining the MG in the condition you see today. The history file is very impressive containing all the the service records from Japan confirming the mileage to be correct as well as the Japanese reregistration document. The MG Rover Group type approval certificate and British Motor Industry Heritage certificate confirming a build date at the Cowley factory on 4th May 1995 and copies of V5’s of the U. K owners, a huge amount of bills, invoices and old mot certificates complete the folder. Lots of work has been carried out by Clive Wheatley the renowned RV8 specialist, this includes uprated Koni front and rear shock absorbers, new fuel pump, polyurethane bump stops, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. New catalysts were also fitted along with a stainless steel exhaust which gives a lovely exhaust note with the trademark V8 burble. The MG has always been garaged and covered and not used in the rain. Also included is a half tonneau cover and sports steering wheel with the original centre also with the car. Running and driving as you would expect the RV8 is a real head turner, the 3. 9 engine pulling well through the rev range. A fresh MOT will be applied upon sale for your own peace of mind.
