The MG RV8 Story:
The MG RV8 was brought to life by ‘Rover Special Projects’ a small dedicated team of just 30 planners, engineers and designers based at Gaydon, Rover’s test track in Warwickshire.
The project was codenamed ‘Adder’ in tribute to the legendary 1960s Anglo-American AC Cobra.
Their mission was simple yet ambitious, to reimagine the iconic MGB as it would have evolved had it never gone out of production.
Unveiled at the 1992 British Motor Show, the RV8 marked the comeback of the MG sports car and its famous badge.
Only 1, 983 examples were built, and of these, 1, 581 were exported to Japan, making this rare British V8 roadster a true modern classic with strong international appeal.
Rare, desirable and in excellent condition, this pearlescent Woodcote Green MG RV8 comes with a comprehensive history file and has been religiously serviced every single year.
In current ownership it has received a new radiator, new water pump and new track rod ends.
It has never had a single MOT advisory, proof of a well maintained car!
