We are offering a solid and at the same time rewarding R68 project. The machine had been in storage with a collector in the Netherlands for over 40 years and was a very early version with a half-hub with the frame and engine number 650444. It was last registered with the RDW in the Netherlands in 1968. The restoration has already been partially started. The cylinders have already been honed and have new pistons. The crankshaft has also been completely overhauled. The invoices for this work are available. The machine is complete apart from a few parts and offers a good basis for a manageable restoration of a BMW sports machine.
