The Fiat Uno - A charming Italian supermini penned by the legendary Giorgetto Guigiaro (Who also designed the DeLorean, Alfa Romeo 105, BMW M1, Lancia Delta, Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s, amongst many other legendary vehicles!) - And now an extremely rare site on UK roads, with only 6 Fiat Uno 45’s remaining (According to ‘howmanyleft’). This has to be one of the lowest mileage and best kept remaining examples, being most recently enthusiast owned and with plenty of history. A perfect starter classic, first car for a classic car enthusiast, or one to add to the collection for a seasoned collector / Italian car fan!
Exterior
This particular Uno is painted in ‘Nero Metallic’ - Overall a presentable car, with some signs of age and previous paintwork as expected on a 34 year old black vehicle. All trims and badges are present, with textured bumpers in good condition. Signs of bubbling around some of the windows, most notably offside rear door.
Interior
With the exception of the drivers seat which does present with two tears (Buyer will be provided with ‘Fiat’ seat cover), the interior in exceptional and original condition - Dash is clean and unfaded / without cracks, original steering wheel and stereo is present, and everything works as intended.
Mechanical
This car really does shine mechanically - I personally drove this from Liverpool back to Scotland and it was flawless. The 8 valve, inline 4 903cc ‘45’ engine is known to be almost indestructible, and is at home on a back road being enjoyed! Easy to work on for the enthusiast, and a seriously charming thing to drive. Holds temperature well, and all dials and gauges present correctly.
