Description
A reluctant sale, but that's how all these adverts go on here, so I will tell you straight with what you need to know the best I can without prejudice. I am selling primarily for the care of my very recent little one, every little helps as some of you will appreciate so she has to go - ideally to an enthusiast's home or someone who appreciates classic cars.
This is a Series 1 which doesn't appear too often on here, or in general.
In a nutshell for those who want a brief run down
Low Mileage 45K
Low Number of Owners 4
Full Service History from: 1981
MOT: Till August
No TAX
Other wise read on...
I will run you through the pictures, however if you want something different this is for you. As you can see the main sites of surface rust are the wings, the bottom of the doors and a slight on the rear hatch - that is all of note. The turrets are sound; the sills are its own and the spare wheel well complete. The tyres have a decent tread but the wheels could so with a refurbishment. This car is as it was back in the day and isn't a welding project in waiting. The interior unfortunately is less than desired when it comes to the seats; they have not stood the test of time.
I have all the MOT's required to verify the mileage, the service history to back up my claim to it being mechanically well looked after all and the fact its been kept Garaged since I've owned it. I suppose the only thing that I would advise a new owner to look at in conclusion is the gearbox linkages, as selecting gears can be a task.
Plus the battery is on its way out despite being taken off and put on charge etc in prep for this sale. That said, this is all I see as the pro's and cons of the car. I have layed out here to the best of my knowledge what you are buying, as far im concerned I want you to be confident of your investment.
This would take very little to bring it upto concourse standard.
