Austin Healey 100-4 "Le Mans" Kit This 1955 Austin Healey 100-4 "Le Mans" kit combines great looks with exceptional performance. Unlike the early factory-built "M" models, our Le Mans model is one of the few Healey 100-4s to undergo a full Le Mans conversion kit, making it an Austin Healey Le Mans kit with all the features that come with the name.
Our matching-numbers Healey is officially recognised in the Le Mans Register and comes with a British Motor Industry Trust Heritage Certificate. Approximately 640 Le Mans kits were sold to Austin-Healey dealers or car owners to upgrade standard Austin Healey 100 sports cars to Le Mans specification. This included equipping the car with a special aluminium cylinder head, larger carburettors, cold air box, high performance camshaft, bonnet louvres and a leather belt on the bonnet. In addition, our 1955 Austin Healey is fitted with an overdrive. The car features an attractive ivory/ black colour combination over a red interior and roof. The paintwork and chrome finish are in excellent condition. The red leather interior shows minimal signs of use and all switches and knobs are fully functional. The soft top and recessed windows are super neat. The original tool kit, spare wheel and jack are all included. This timeless classic comes with a full ownership and service history, including a certified copy of the Heritage records and a rarely seen owner's manual, personally signed by Donald Healey.
