We are uniquely located on the beautiful peninsular of Sandbanks Poole, Dorset.
My collection of cars and memorabilia have been collected by myself since 1973 but I am retiring and I have decided to offer my collection for sale. However, my love for cars has not diminished and I am happy to consider part exchange.
1955 AUSTIN HEALEY 100/ 4 M SPORTS CONVERTIBLE WITH LE MANS LOUVRED BONNET
Finish in Austin Healey bright Corolado red with black leather trim piped in red complemented by a black hood and side screens with a black tonneau cover. Sitting on 15 inch wire wheels with 180HR 15 Michelin tyres with original 3 speed manual gearbox with overdrive acting as 4th gear.
Engine number 1B/ 22342M, chassis number BN1/ 223425. Reg number URL 931, 2660cc.
Only 3 owners according to the V5, registered on 17th Feb 1955 (nearly 70 years old) delivered to Austin Healey dealers A C Turner, Plymouth Devon, UK.
This vehicle has clearly benefitted in the past from an extremely detailed ground up restoration including the engine and boot area and all to a very high standard. The vehicle has covered very limited miles since the full restoration.
Features include; laminated racing windshield, heater, racing Le Mans spec louvred bonnet, Bonneville salt flats 154 mph speed testing grille badge, aluminium Healey rocker cover, Motolito wood rim steering wheel, full tool kit, correct M spec air cleaner, side exhaust and a Radiomobile CD and radio system discreetly fitted.
