TVR Vixen S2 from 1969 1st registration, 11/ 03/ 1969 This Vixen S2 version had more than 75 improvements over its predecessor the S1. The bodywork is bolted to the multi-tubular chassis rather than glued as was previously the case. Longer doors, a restyled bonnet and new square rear lights from the Ford Cortina Mk2. The preparation was given particular care and the Lotus Twin Cam 1600 engine developing 135 bhp.
The current owner acquired it in 2019 from a Belgian collector who had bought it from another collector in England. Rare in this version with the Lotus Twin Cam block, 10 to 12 similar models have been identified. Sold with a history followed from England and known in the TVR world, this Vixen is one of the oldest surviving cars of this type. This historic car with astonishing performance will delight collectors and drivers alike.
