DEPOSIT TAKEN VW Beetle 1303 S, 1600 cc, Super Beetle, this Superb VW has been with its last owner for 32 years after acquiring the car in 1992 and then embarking on a full restoration and upgrading as you see the car today. The car was given the Porsche look in period with all chrome work colour coded, upgraded smooth style split Rim Alloys, EMPI Quick Shift Gear Change, Porsche style Mirrors, Tinted Glass, interior was re trimmed by B Trim in Edmonton at huge expense and also fitted with Recaro front seats, with all door card and matching rear seat, Renewed Carpets, Kenwood C D Radio, once finished the car was used for shows up to 2000 when it was stored in a heated garage up to 2024. The car has been throughly recommissioned in 2024 with over £5000 invested with receipts which included an exchange twin port Lead Free Engine from the VW Engine Company which is just being run in and completed 250 miles since fitment, running on Valvoline 20/ 50 VR1 Oil, The Beetle was MOTd in September for the first time in over 20 years and passed without advisories, albeit this not now required as the VW is MOT exempt and Historic free road tax class as well as being ULEZ compliant. This Beetle drives and rides superbly and being the Super Beetle has the higher final drive gearbox which gives it much more legs than its predecessor and drives and feels like a little 911, Fresh set of Yokohama tyres fitted with 195 rear and 175 front, documentation of all recent re commissioning work carried out and the 1990 restoration is still excellent and very sound in all areas, a very distinctive much admired Beetle looking for a new loving home.
