Description
Porsche 356 60 hp, completed on 9 February 1962.
It was delivered new by compétition motors Hollywood, California, and retains its original engine and gearbox.
The vehicle is a "matching number" in exceptionally well preserved condition having been in Los Angeles for over 60 years. The vehicle is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity and period photographs. It has undergone a recent high level cosmetic restoration in France including an entirely new interior redone by a recognised Porsche saddler. All seals are new, the chrome redone to 80%.
The original engine has been completely overhauled, carburettors, fuel pump and ignition are new. The brakes, suspension, bushes, shock absorbers and silent blocks have been rebuilt or overhauled and the tyres are new. The car comes with a large number of maintenance invoices in a complete file. The car does not require any Restoration despite the defects of the paintwork which is in places cracked by the sun and should be kept in its original condition with a patina which makes it a perfect car for use.
