Description
First delivered on the 20th of April 1985, this Porsche was specified with the following factory options:
Schwarz Black exterior
Champagner Leather interior
Bumper with impact absorber
Differential lock
Electric height-adjustable sports seats
Forged alloy wheels
Cruise control
Front and rear spoilers
From 1985 to 1990, the car comes with a solid service history, supported by a stamped book, with mileage just over 60, 000 miles in 1990.
Invoices are present for the period between 1990 and 2014, though the car was not regularly serviced during this time, but did receive work on an as-needed basis.
In 2015, the car received an oil service and a new clutch before being sold to a new owner.
From 2015 to 2018, it remained MOT’d but covered minimal mileage. In the autumn of 2018, the new owner commissioned a full engine rebuild, including timing chains, a stainless exhaust system, oil pipes, oil cooler, drop links, clutch, front calipers, pads, and new tyres.
After remaining unused following this work, the car changed hands again in September 2021 to its current owner, who had the following work completed:
Replacement of the NSF wing
Weld repairs to the OSR sill area
Replacement of the lower rear valance
Bare metal respray
Replacement of rear calipers
Replacement of tie rods, track rod ends, and boots
Upon arrival for sale, we had The Classic Collective carry out some additional work to address minor issues, as well as fit a Blaupunkt Bluetooth radio to complete the car.
We have covered 400 miles since this work was done and can confidently say it is a fantastic car to drive.
Overall, the car presents exceptionally well, though if the next owner wishes to take it to the next level, investing in the interior would be a great way to further enhance its condition.
