Powered by a 250cm3 4-stroke in-line cylinder, this machine boasts 45bhp at almost 15, 000rpm and weighs just 140kg...
The little sister of the 1000 FZR, the 250 is rather rare on the French market. This type of small model, marketed mainly in Japan, is in no way inferior to its big sister and incorporates most of the Japanese know-how of the 80s and 90s.
Our model is in fine condition, with only a few cosmetic defects (for its age) visible in the many photos. To give you a better idea, here are some photos with the fairings removed. Mechanically, the bike starts correctly and runs smoothly.
However, it could probably do with some attention: - cleaning and adjustment of the carburettors - change of the rocker cover seal, which is oozing slightly (see photo) - and no doubt other consumables. Please note that it has passed the roadworthiness test and that the price INCLUDES the French collector's registration document in your name.
