We are very pleased to offer an original spec 1991 Austin Mini Mayfair Automatic. Finished in Flame red with its original decals, matte black grille a sexy set of Minilite wheels. This fantastic Mini has been well cherished with just three previous owners, one of which cared for it for 25 years. It has only covered a very low 34k in 34 years and is accompanied with a service history folder, handbooks and previous MOT certificates.
I am a big fan of Automatic Minis, the gearbox design was very advanced for its time so consequently they are well suited to modern day traffic. I have driven this Mini at length including Motorways and it happily cruises all day. The Gearbox is super smooth and it changes up and down effortlessly making it a real pleasure to drive. The full Go-Kart experience is on offer here, simply select Drive and away you go, its difficult not to smile as its such an easy and fun Classic to drive. This model also has servo operated disc brakes so it stops as well as it goes.
This Mini has a wonderfully preserved interior and is presented in its Mayfair factory spec, luxury velour trim, untouched carpets and roof liner, tinted glass, three clock dash with a rev counter and an upgraded Kenwood CD player with USB and AUX. It also benefits from a factory fitted sunroof which is a useful addition on sunny days. The interior still looks and smells new, a sure sign of an easy life. This model has rear seat belts and a very useful dash mounted light that illuminates the gearstick on dark nights.
This Mayfair has an excellent virtually untouched shell and is a real survivor, it has gleaming body coloured floor pans, the original vented sills, untouched boot floor and original wings and front panel. It is still body coloured inside all four inner arches. The rear subframe still has the factory wax coat. This is a great looking Mini with well presented paint which does have the odd imperfection and mark but then again it is wonderfully original and its better for that.
The Mini is fully serviced, checked, tuned and driven and it will be supplied with a full MOT, ready for the open road.
