MINI by "Paul Smith" replica collection based on a 1994 1000 Sealine carburettor (the last before injection, reliable and it "sings" just right!)
This Mini has an exceptional history. Born Sealine, it has only covered 38, 400 km since its delivery in 1994.
It becomes "Paul Smith" in 1999.
The real Mini Paul Smith was born when the first generation of Minis ceased in 1998. It ends up painted with 86 stripes in 26 different colours.
Two units were produced: one for Sir Paul Smith himself and the second for the Design Museum in London.
An icon is born from this collaboration.
The previous owner of the example shown here (a collector of British vehicles) fell in love with its design and exclusivity. He therefore decided as early as 1999 to transform it into an automotive icon. A year of work, around £30k, and the finest artisans delivered this exceptional result!
Upholstery with degraded contrast stitching and Ps-coloured stitching, badges, wheels, full wrap, lacquered dashboard, steering wheel, mats... you can even find the grille badge in the shapes and colours of Great Britain, just like the original!
