MGB 1978 Pretty English convertible. Imported many years ago from the United States, it made the happiness of its previous owner. Who, as she grew older, decided to part with it. Not without regular maintenance.
This is evidenced in particular by the recent high-quality paintwork, the recent refreshment of the upholstery and the maintenance invoices for the period of use.
As its history and the roadworthiness tests it underwent during its European period attest.
This model has a power-assisted braking system and has been serviced to bring it into line with models sold in Europe. The suspension has been replaced, a pair of SU carburettors (completely rebuilt) fitted and a new exhaust system installed, as well as an electronic ignition system.
A new battery and fuel pump were fitted, and the brakes were overhauled. To complete the look, 4 aluminium wheels (fitted with new tyres) were installed. The soft top and tonneau cover are in excellent condition, the carpets are new and the upholstery is spotless.
The car has been treated with "Dinitrol" since leaving the factory and therefore has no corrosion. The MOT is clean. The car is sold with an FFVE certificate allowing it to be registered as a classic vehicle.
