I imported this Citroen 2CV at the end of last year with the idea of using it for short trips over to France and an interesting classic for Summer use. However, a change in circumstances means it is now not going to get used in the way it was hoped so reluctantly up for sale.
Little is known of it's previous history aside from the fact it was subject to a nut and bolt restoration around 5 or 6 years ago by it's owner in South Africa from where it was imported.
It is in stunning condtion with rust free bodywork and unmarked paintwork, the colour really makes it stand out.
It has the larger 602cc engine making it much better to drive in modern traffic and it has proved reliable and great fun in the little use it has seen over recent months. It had a disc brake upgrade during the course of the restoration and a few other modifications to improve the driving experience.
UK registered, tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt.
Would be ideal as a fun runaround at the holiday home in France or Spain being left hand drive. Assistance given to transport/ deliver to Europe and export enquiries welcome.
