Selling my super rare VW Beetle 1303S in Hellas Gold Metallic. My own personal car and part of my own private classic car collection which I'm trimming down. I have owned this Beetle for 8 years in which time it has always been kept on display in my showroom and used for classic car shows in the summer months only. Offered in excellent condition and in it's original colour of Hellas Gold this 1303S known as the Big Beetle had previously undergone a professional restoration which has stood the test of time well. The interior has been retrimmed in Brown Leather and a new Headlining has been installed. The rest of the interior is original to the car including the carpets which show little signs of wear and the wood fascia dashboard which is crack free. The factory correct wooden gear knob and original leather steering wheel are also present. She sits on the correct and rare 5. 5" x 15" GT wheels which have been refurbished and with matching Goodyear tyres which are all in excellent condition.
First registered on 2nd November 1973 the current mileage shows as 90221 which I believe to be correct but have no way of knowing. Only 1 previous owner and registered as a historic vehicle so Tax and Mot exempt. I like to Mot all my classics for peace of mind and the current Mot is until 21st August 2025 but I'm happy to put a new Mot on her for the next owner.
She gets plenty of attention whenever I take her out and she drives really well with a surprising turn of speed from her 1600cc engine. There is no radio fitted so I have blanked the apeture with a make shift blanking plate so it doesn't detract from the overall look but she does have an aerial fitted so it should be easy enough to replace with a radio of your choice.
A great looking Beetle in her correct colour with all the correct features which you can jump in and drive straight away. I've put a price on her which I think offers great value for money. I'm not being greedy and have seen lesser cars being advertised for more money. I just need to free up some space and ready for someone else to have some enjoyment out of her. That said I'm not desperate to sell so wont be accepting silly offers. Your welcome to come and view her and take her for a drive but would need to be during office hours only Monday to Friday. The car is located in Swaffham in Norfolk. Payment via Bacs is preferred method of payment and the car wont be released until funds cleared.
