For sale: a very rare Alfasud Sprint Veloce 1. 5 in the “PLUS” trim, 95 hp (a numbered example from the 700 sold in Italy). Entirely original and restored, period-correct interior in excellent preserved condition, engine tuned impeccably, suspension, brake discs, exhaust; braking system fully overhauled, everything meticulously restored or replaced with new original parts, original wheels for the model (very hard to source). Bodywork perfectly restored and ASI registration already completed (exempt from tax and insurance at very low costs).

This rare example of an Alfasud Sprint Veloce Plus, which has only 2 previous owners (including myself), immediately evokes the 1980s as soon as you drive it. Its rarity, being one of the few remaining, lies in its uniquely restored trim. Of 2000 examples worldwide (of which only 700 in Italy), this is number 392. The engine is like a Swiss watch, never misses a beat, the drive is a true pleasure and the car does exactly everything you tell it to—hardly feels like you’re piloting an 80s car. Restoring it was a long and complex process that involved several professionals who have worked on these cars for decades during their actual production years.
