Built on the chassis of the Giulietta Spider with a coach-built steel and aluminum body designed by Carrozzeria Bertone based on the Bertone Aerodynamica Technia (BAT) design studies, the Giulietta Sprint Speciale was a limited-production homologation special. With an extremely low weight and an incredibly low drag coefficient of 0. 28 (the same as a C6 Corvette), the car’s all alloy 1. 3L Inline-4 was capable of propelling the car to around 125mph – much higher than its siblings managed.
