49K from new. This is a rustfree USA car returned to the UK in 1990 & converted to RHD. After that she was driven 3K then stored for 15 years. She came from an estate sale in N Ireland. She really is a time warp car in lovely original unmessed around condition. After buying her we changed her fluids, inserted a new battery & plugs & she fired right up. Then I drove her onto the Belfast ferry to Stranraer & drove her all the way to London without missing a beat!!! 4 good tyres on her & original wire wheels with knock off hubs.
Her exterior is in BRG & is incredibly solid & rust free. No major dents or dings & just a few minor crazes in the paint here & there. Brightwork is also all present & in decent condition. Tyres are good & spare is new & unused... but after 40 years on the rim, I might replace it before relying on it!!!!
Her Interior is totally original in lovely light green & really is not bad at all. Rear luggage area looks unused as do the rear occasional seats. She has her original wood rim steering wheel & original carpets which are not in bad shape at all. Headlining is all just fine, not sagging at all as is common on these.
On the road she pulls strongly & accelerates well with a glorious noise coming from her stainless steel exhaust. She has a three speed auto box which changes up & down fine with instant kickdown. Her oil pressure is an excellent 45PSI at speed & idles at about 15-20PSI. She fires right up on the starter button from cold instantly. She does not overheat & runs with the temp guage about neutral. Driving her is a complete pleasure with just the thought of getting in her bringing a smile to my face. She has such a high feel good factor!!!
This really is a time warp car. She is not concours, but is really not in bad condition at all. I would recommend a thorough service & she should then give many miles of enjoyment. Looking down the bonnet as one drives along makes you realise why these cars were such a sensation when launched in the 60's.
Bad Bits: I tried to MOT her before leaving Belfast but she failed on spongy brakes & a headlamp not working. Other then that there really is not much bad to say about her.

She is a lovely lovely honest car in really OK used condition & with very little TLC will make a wonderful charismatic every day runner. Room for kids in the back too!
