Description
This Mini Moke began life in Portugal as an original Cagiva Moke. It was later imported to Germany, where it underwent a comprehensive restoration and gentle conversion to MK I specification.
Highlights of the restoration include:
• Converted to original 10-inch wheels and rims, with the body adjusted accordingly.
• Finished in the authentic factory color “Spruce Green.”
• Roof and seats replaced with correct MK I-style components.
• Footwell carpet and matching 10-inch spare wheel.
• Extensive sheet metal work carried out using original panels from the UK.
• New canvas roof
Mechanical work:
• Engine partially overhauled with new water pump, hoses, seals, spark plugs, oil and filter, antifreeze, gaskets, and more.
• Engine and gearbox in very good condition, repainted in the original BMC “Engine Green.” The original factory engine offers excellent compression (see picture).
• Suspension, axles, and paintwork renewed and reconditioned.
• Cavity protection and underbody wax applied for long-term preservation.
Documentation & Registration:
• German TÜV inspection valid until July 2027.
• Historical German vehicle registration.
This Moke combines originality with careful restoration, making it an excellent example for collectors and enthusiasts alike. A genuine low kilometer example that will be difficult to match.
