1991 Eunos, imported 2004, MOT 14/ 09/ 26, it has had its rear arches repaired correctly, rear painted, new front left wing, soft top replaced, hard top fitted, timing belt kit including water pump, thermostat and temp sender for the fan, new springs all four corners on existing Bilstein shocks, new pads and discs front and back, new callipers on the rear, new lower air intake on the front, new headlights, new jvc speakers and blue tooth head unit, new wing mirrors, alot of the items have been purchased from MX5 Parts, a few interior trim parts have been replaced, new tyres.
The MX5 is reasonably tidy, certainly solid, its very presentable but the bonnet and light pod covers have scratches and if you were after a show vehicle would need attention, doors have the odd mark, although its had a new aerial the connector for the head unit has either been cut off or cable tucked where I cant find it, I think a DAB may be a better option or feed a replacement coaxe front to back, Ive been using blue tooth, wheel rims are pretty good, one has a little curb rash, underneath has been coated with lanolin.
There is no aircon, the pump etc had been removed before my ownership. It drives and handles lovely, pulls amazingly in 5th gear, soft top for summer and hard top if you prefer, its not a harsh ride with it sitting on standard springs, this is the car with its circa 115bhp that pushed aside Lotus with its elan m100 and became exceptionally popular, having owed both id say the the soft top on the mx5 is certainly far superior,
