Description
In the autumn of 1977, the top-of-the-line version of the Mercedes C107, the SLC 450 5. 0, the powerful engine producing 240 horsepower, was launched.
Fewer than three thousand units were built.
The entire production run of the model totaled over sixty thousand units.
The C107 is less frequently seen on the road than its R107 sibling, and the 240 horsepower V8 version accounted for less than 5 percent of the total production, but these are just the numbers.
In reality, the 450 with its five-liter engine is a coupe with a sporty character. And it's not a pleasantly purring couchette for executives with a "heavy foot," but a homologated, comfortable rally car. A rally car successful in rallies held in Africa and America. The SLC's distinguishing features include an aluminum trunk lid and engine cover, aluminum bumper reinforcements, and distinctive louvers in the rear side windows.
Year: 1978

This car is from the American market and is complete, with original BBS Mahle rims and Lorinser steering wheels.
It starts and drives, but requires restoration.
A fine base for building a rally car.
