A true icon of American motoring, halfway between a sports car and a utility vehicle, this model perfectly embodies the concept of the “ute coupe”, blending the comfort and style of a touring car with the practicality of a pickup bed.
In 1968 a new design was introduced, more muscular, smoother and more aggressive; the grille was redesigned with integrated twin headlights, the bodylines were inspired by the Chevelle, giving an unmistakable “muscle car” look.
The rear bed is integrated into the structure (not separated as in a classic pickup).
The Malibu trim represents the top of the Chevelle range; it is better equipped, more comfortable, and more elegant, with a finer finish.
Several engines were available; the model on sale here is equipped with the 327 ci (5. 4 L) V8, paired to an automatic transmission.
It was restored by its previous owner, with new paint in excellent condition, in a radiant colour.
The upholstery is original and in perfect condition.
The mechanicals and ancillary systems have been serviced; it’s a car that runs reliably and behaves perfectly on the road.
The tyres are new, and the brakes as well.
