Chevrolet El Camino 1980
Sold new in Finland and only had two owners, current 2nd owner purchased it in 2008 with 11200 km on the speedometer.
Between 2008 and 2016 there were an additional 80, 000 km driven, at that point the owner decided to start a frame off restoration. Six years later in 2023 it was finally completed, inspected and put back on the road.
Below is a short list of works carried out:
• Body was sandblasted back to bare metal, acid painted and the with epoxy primer.
• Frame sandblasted back to bare metal treated in hot zinc tank.
• Complete new suspension including ballpoints etc.
• Fully rebuilt 4. 3 V6 fuel injected engine.
• Fully rebuilt TH 700 transmission.
• 10 bolt rear axle without Lsd and original ratio, fresh oil and new driveshaft bearings.
• Interior is original and in good shape.
• Corvette original 8x15 wheels with new tires.
The owner is so confident in this El Camino that he is willing to drive it to its new owner in Europe.
