The car was purchased in the mid-1990s through Peter Iversen – a renowned Porsche 356 specialist – by its latest owner, who is both a educated mechanical engineer and a doctor. Since the purchase, the car has been stored dry and frost-free in a heated garage, and has been used regularly, but always with a lot of care.
More recently, the car has been upgraded with a Porsche 912 engine, which according to the previous owner was practically as good as new when installed. This engine produces more power than the original 356 engine, while maintaining the car's classic character and driving dynamics.
The brake system has also been updated to a dual-circuit system with a master cylinder from a Porsche 911, which provides a significant improvement in safety and brake feel compared to the original single-circuit system.
The car has been carefully maintained throughout its life with the correct use of original parts, and technical maintenance according to factory specifications.
