Description
1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1 350 Ramjet Fuel Injection V8 fitted with a Tremec 5-Speed manual gearbox. An exceptional example of the final-year C1 Corvette, presented in Sateen Silver metallic with red seats and interior trim, arguably one of the most striking colour combinations available on any classic car.
Powered by a GM Performance crate 350 V8 351hp Ramjet fuel-injected engine, of which was fitted by renowned specialist Corvette Kingdom, also equipped with an upgraded Tremec T-5 manual transmission.
Further well-considered driver upgrades and enhancements include Electric Power Steering, Power-Assisted Disc Brakes, auxiliary Rev counter and the fitting of a new Mohair convertible hood.
As one of the very last C1 Corvettes built before the introduction of the C2 Stingray in 1963, this example represents a significant moment in the model’s evolution.
