This 1983 Ferrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole is a living testament to what happens when passion outweighs fear and a car is allowed to do what it was born to do.
Finished in timeless Rosso Red and powered by the 2. 9-litre Quattrovalvole V8 producing 237 bhp, this is believed to be the highest-mileage Ferrari 308 in the world. Not a statistic to hide from, but a badge of honour worn proudly.
Much of its life unfolded under Californian skies, where over 240, 000 miles were clocked up in true grand touring spirit. Between 1989 and 2015, more than $40, 000 was invested in careful maintenance and mechanical sympathy, ensuring the story never stalled. Its remarkable journey was later documented in a deeply moving video feature by The Late Brake Show, capturing the soul of a Ferrari that simply refused to retire.
When the car arrived in the UK, a new chapter began. The current owner undertook an extraordinary revival, investing over £55, 000 to return the 308 to its very best. A zero-mile engine rebuild. Complete wiring overhaul. Full suspension rebuild. A full Ferrari leather interior retrim with a beautifully finished Alcantara dashboard. Fully refurbished alloy wheels fitted with the correct tyres all round.
All works were completed in April 2025, with fewer than 100 miles covered since.
